The story...
Ashley's French teacher has linked up with a school in France and asks everyone to choose a French student to e-mail - in French of course. Ashley chooses someone called Renée, and when he returns home he writes a short e-mail in French about himself and sends it to HIM! In France Renée, also has the same task and chooses someone called Ashley, and writes a short e-mail in French about herself and sends it to HER! Ashley thinks Renée is a French boy and Renée thinks Ashley is an English girl. But still - it is good practise for them - in the play the do meet up and then do they realise their mistake!
