Lena and Lukas have booked a lovely holiday cottage in the middle of nowhere. It's their first weekend away together, and they're looking forward to a relaxing break in the countryside.
Meanwhile, Mia, Lukas's ex-girlfriend, has also booked a few days away. She's looking forward to some peace and quiet, far away from everyone.
But there's a problem. It's the same cottage!
The cottage has been double-booked, and when Lukas discovers who else is staying there, their peaceful weekend takes a very unexpected turn as he tries to keep Mia and Lena hidden from each other.
Die Schlüsselbox is a fast-moving comedy full of misunderstandings, awkward situations, physical humour and hilarious mishaps.
Performed entirely in accessible German by just two actors, the play includes plenty of visual comedy and student participation, with pupils invited on stage to become part of the action.

...fantastic performance by the two German girls. There was the right balance of audience participation and slapstick to keep the uipils engaged throughout.
They both worked extremely hard and my HOD was so impressed that he has requested we book another performance next academic year around the same time.
